KDDI lines up WiMAX allies | The Japan Times Online

Enough talking about WiMAX in the USA…Japan is making it happen.

iFrogz case for iPod Nano (2nd Gen)Here is the wife’s new case from ifrogz.com for her blue colored iPod Nano (2nd Gen). The cool thing is that ifrogz lets you choose from a ton of colors and mix and match the 2-piece silicon case. Then to top it off you can choose from a ba-zillion covers for the click wheel. Check out ifrogz.com and create your custom iPod/iPhone case. It also comes with a clear shield for screen The big bonus is that ifrogz’s silicon repels lint unlike my iSkinz case that I bought for my original iPod (2nd Gen – first touch wheel). The iSkinz case cleaned out my pockets everytime I put my iPod in there. Needless to say I have been using my original iPod for 4+ years without a case because I was so put off by it. The ifrogz case feels smooth (a little slippery) as the iSkinz case had the same tacky feeling as duct tape. The ifrogz case beats all the cheap-o cases I saw at Yodobashi Camera, and they have a ton of cases (but, all crap).

System of a Down with their video BOOM. Vote!

Yes, living overseas has increased my anger with Bush. Always thought he was a moron, now I believe it.  BOOM!

I read in the newspaper today that Blue Man Group will be preforming in Tokyo during December 2007 – January 2008. They will preform in a new 900 seat theatre down the road from Roppongi Hills in Tokyo. The new theatre is temporarily being called Blue Man Theatre in their honor.

If you don’t know who they are, well watch the video.

Here is the original article that was in today’s Japan Times.

From the Associated Press – “A model shows Sony Corp’s new rolling egg-shaped digital music player in Tokyo, Monday, Sept. 10, 2007. The 40,000 yen, 300 gram Rolly, set to go on sale in Japan on Sept. 29, comes with stereo speakers, 1 Gigabyte of internal flash memory and a battery good for about five hours of music. Overseas sales are still undecided. The smooth white gadget, small enough to sit on a palm, has sensors that recognize which way is up, allowing volume to be controlled by turning the player clockwise or counterclockwise, and tunes can be switched by pushing or pulling it on the floor. “

Hmmm…looks a little like clocky. The famous rolling alarm clock.

“Consumers can now buy a notebook from Dell or its Alienware division that contains a 64GB hard drive made from flash memory.
And the upgrade will only cost you $920.” from CNET.com

Generally my mind can keep straight what computer I am working on and what CAD app I am using, but sometimes I do a lot of incorrect button pushing and mouse clicking because of the difference between CAD software for simple pan, zoom, and rotate functions.  Life would be so much easier if I could get my boss to pony up for 2 SpaceBalls, so I could program them the same for all the CAD apps between the 2 computers.

All and all I enjoying working with the different OS’s because at the end of the day I know what I want to use at home.  Macs are the tools to keep my life simple and low stress, no fussing with IT crap for me.
